We looked at both wood and steel, but we were concerned about the maintenance that a wood door would need and we didn’t really like how the steel door felt. The fiberglass has a nice solid feel and once it’s painted should be very low maintenance.

Good choice. Steel covered doors tend to rust at the base. Wooden doors swell and shrink and develop “shrink/swell” gaps.
