In October of 2006, we bought 10 acres just outside of Nevada City, CA with the intention of building a house there.

We immediately began work designing our house and figuring out all the details inherent in the design and build process.

As of late March, 2007, we have completed designs and hope to have all other bits finished to submit to the county to get a building permit very soon.

Our goal is to start building in late May or early June 2007 and be “closed in” by the end of the summer.

We’ll be updating this blog as we continue in the adventure.
